Innovations from Holland

For many centuries the United Kingdom and the Netherlands have been close trading partners. Similarities in culture, positive business attitudes and the proximity of markets have contributed to a strong business relationship.

There is now a high level of activity in the British construction sector. The London Olympics in 2012, the Thames Gateway Housing development and many other projects are creating a huge demand for construction resources. The Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, recently announced plans for over three million new homes by 2020. Two million of these must be built by 2016. Read more >

New publication Innovations from Holland
The NBCC will publish a new edition of Innovations from Holland. The new catalogue will present more innovative and sustainable construction methods from the Netherlands and will also include case studies on more efficient building methods, solutions for construction in the built environment and building in flood zones.
