For many centuries the United Kingdom and the Netherlands have been close trading partners. Similarities in culture, positive business attitudes and the proximity of markets have contributed to a strong business relationship.
There is now a high level of activity in the British construction sector. The London Olympics in 2012, the Thames Gateway Housing development and many other projects are creating a huge demand for construction resources.
